Hello, I'm Thomas Fahey. Currently I am a third-year journalism major at San Diego State University, where I am also studying history as a minor. I am originally from outside of Boston, MA and I am passionate about health and fitness, sports, pop-culture, travel and history. This past summer I worked as a camera operator for the Bourne Braves team broadcast in the Cape Cod Baseball League, and in the past I have written blogs covering college basketball.

This semester while enrolled in JMS 430, I hope to improve on my skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud and understanding the technical side of digital journalism, which is something I have little background in. In terms of my career aspirations, I want to combine the journalism and reporting skills I have been practicing at SDSU with the behind the camera work I have done over the summer to produce and write documentaries or short films, similar to an ESPN 30 for 30 or a Vice YouTube video.
